Open to all Sports Therapists
The Lymphatic System.
Probably the most important,
and most neglected system for
Sports Performance
When thinking of lymphatics, think cardiovascular health,
immune system, chronic pain, nervous system health.
Basically, whole body health and the prevention / management of
sports injuries.
This workshop is all about following the flow of the lymphatic system, identifying the main lymph node areas - lymphatic "hotspots", making sure these areas are free of restrictions, thereby having the best chance of maintaining lymphatic flow.
This workshop is not a Manual Lymphatic Draining (MLD) or a Lymphatic Massage workshop. It allows you to use very gentle soft tissue work and principles - be it types of massage, myofascial work, or techniques such as the Bowen technique.
If you are a practitioner able to use gentle soft tissue work, wanting to make a difference in people's lives, then this workshop is for you!
